Cege Sopglg 9X5 We See C-Cgem Classes come and classes go, but this one stays on forever, at least, some of its members seem to. But you can't blame them for liking this dump Cdon't call this joint a dumpl. No kidding, it has a few points in its favor. For instance, you don't have to go to all meals, and there is no limit as to what time you have to be in at night Cthere's no limit to the noise either, for that matterj. And remember those monthly 'shops' that don't cost a thing, except the taxi to get your girl and to take her home and a little food at intermission and maybe a barfbfq afterwards. Swell things, these free college dances! What do you mean, talking of college dances? This is a writefup for for againstj the Sophomore Class of '36. I suppose this is as good a time as ever for the proverbial toast, so- Here's to the Class of '36, Johnnie's good when he's sleeping, Made up of town and country hicks. If he isn't having a nightmare, 1've seen worse classes-I don't know where, But all in all he's a pretty good guy, But they have some smart ones, and to spare. Happy-gcvlucky, without a care. Now there're some officers we might mention Bergeron's a devil with women. Though it makes no nevermindg His technique is really superb, Fess Crockett's a person of small dimensions. But somehow or other, strange as it seems, CBut so is jinney so everything's Iinej. Nita just won't be disturbed. Quiet and unassuming, But you can't: be sure. William may live a double life- They're not always Simon Pure. Now that's just a smattering of what might be said of the Class of '36- yes, why not?-I think I shall. This is too good a chance to miss-I know some good jokes on some of those Soph's so here goes-! Al Bergeron QPoison Ivy to youj is the best looking boy in school. If you don't believe me, just ask him . . . Allen Peck is number one tennis player. QHe's number one all the way round as far as Blanche is concernedj . . . Virginia Lee Fisher felt smart when she discovered that you whisper deaf and dumb language by using mittens .... Maurice Murphy can outfchew any grasshopper on the campus. fI'm not calling you a grasshopper, Juddie.D . . . Herb Gibson, Chris's little cupcake, can say less in more time than Gracie Allen . . . juddie Lambert talks and we talk with him-we stop and he talks alone . . . They say that great feet walk in the same paths. This may apply to Mac for he's certainly walked in the same paths in all that pacing in his Chemistry class. CThat's right, Mac, you're not a Sophomore, are you? . . . They say Don Bevins is big as an ox and almost as smart .... And so, in the midst of a jumble of noise which you would expect from such an Annual Staff, I bring to a close this slight glimpse of a very few of the Sopho' more class. If your curiosity has been aroused you might try to learn more. I make no rash promises but you might find something of interest! ll22ll
