The Blue Springs Wildcats started the season with a host of underclassmen on the squad and the greatest thing accomplished was their experience. The first game was with Center High of Kansas City. The final score being 20 to O in favor of the Yel- lowjackets. In this game the only long drive was halted by the whistle. The Widlcats were defeated by the Raytown Blue ays 40 to O in a game that was played very well by the Wildcats believe it or notl. In the next game the Wildcats set a record for Blue Springs team by rolling over buckner 55 to 0 in a game that saw three backs and the two ends score the touchdowns. Three other men scored the conversions. For two games the Wildcats played rugged ball and ere deci- sively defeated by Grandview and Pleasant Hill. For a ghird loss the Wildcats journeyed to Harrisonville to be defeated in six inches of mud and water 6 to 0. In one of the bitterly fought games seen around these parts in many a year the Grain Valley Eagles and B. S. Wildcats tied 0 to 0. Both teams passed up golden scoring opportunities. The final game of the season was played at Lees Summit where the Wildcats loafed for one half and were behind 20 to 0. They came back fighting mad to outscore the Tigers 7 to 0 in the second half. The final score being 20 50 7. Although we lost a few games we feel we have experienced the younger fellows. 38 1. : A , H 2. at - ..-V . - .., N. ... . , W. - . . 4 M , -Q.-s xnwc ma.5vnsqpon.:ur-5.
