Only one member of last year's starting, lineup remained, e was Bud Wells. There were five second team men back. They were Lawerence kbrris, Charles Lewis, Herby Kissling, Bob Lemons,and Hollis Stebbins. This years starting line-up was composed of five Juniors? Bud wells, Eerby Kissling, Hollis Stebbins, Charles lewis, and lawerence Lbrris. ' we opened the season against Manual High of Kansas City. Being outclassed, the Wildcats made a good showing. At the end of the third quarter-wefwere ahead three points. Manual led at the end, 28-20. In our next game we beat Grain Valley 39-35. s Though the records are not good they show that we will probably have an excellent team next year., The Wildcats attended three tournaments- this year. The first, the Pleasant Hill Tburna- nent, was unsuccessful. We won an easy game from Garden City, than lost to Adrian. In our own tournament, we lost our first game to the Haskell Indians. This placed us in the consolation bradket. we won our second game from Henrietta. Our third game was won at Pam-day's expense. Playing for , ' consolation championship, we lost to Center.
