'N K 'rr' IWW' 5 Even the most unbiased of our teachers admit that the group of persons who make up our beloved sophomore class are Wa trifle noisy.N This probably results from the fact that most of us have gone to school together since we were in Miss White's first grade. As a result, we are not self-conscious and our conduct is rather informal. However we do think we are an important part of the student body, and we modestly submit the following evidences of our achievements: Sophomore members of the Crier Staff are: Bill Dwyer, Howard Richards, Patty Portwood, Jean Baker, l and Peggy Brownfield. Jean Baker, Bill Dwyer, and Howard Richards represent the sophomores in the Debate Club. Candidate for Souvenir Queen is Maud Morris. Candidate for Tournament Queen is Jean Baker. Sophomore girls in Glee Club and Mixed Chorus are: Joan Schroer, Rosemary Porter, Peggy Brown- field, Elsie Greenlee, Patty Portwood, Francis Dean, Betty Shanks, Shirley Chapin, Mary Beyler, Mary Lou Pressly, Dorthy Bumpus, and Jean Baker. Muscially inclined boys are: Bruce Curfman, Bill Dwyer, Bob Morrison, Harlan Brockman, and Howard Richards. Our Class officers are: President, Roy Jour- nagang Vicepresident, Rosemary Porter, Secretary- treasurer, Betty Shanks, Defence Council, Bob Mor- rison. 20 '1 ' ' - - 'MKG ' 59:59 ,- '- '- '- 5 - x r'- '-'f' :sm-.r ' N' -' 1-zzaenza v'-'-' 'Li'-' '
