Qizfa Baagsfgaff Back Row: Mary Sheets, Norma Campbell, Sally Pack, Mary Lou Beyers, Betty Burkhardt, Mary Virginia Myers, Peggy Brownfield. Second Row: Mr. Shofstall, Elma June Arthur, Mary Beth Kirby, Sue Callaway, Maud-Morris, Mable Leek, Erma Morris. Front Row: Marion Green, Mary Lou Pressly, Julia Paxton, Evelyn Arthur, Louise Todt, Miss Hall, sponsor. The Wildkittens have ended up with a very successful season, having won 24 out of 28 games. We entered five tournaments this-year, taking trophies at each. In the Greenwood. tourney, we won consolation, third at Pleasant Hill, second at the conference tourney, we won second at our own Invitational tournament, and at the Ruskin tourney we took the championship trophy. We won all our conference games but lost to Grain Valley in the tournament, after beating them twice before. . Our most exciting game of the season was our last game, a game with Ruskin. We had been defeated by Ruskin twice before and since our Seniors were playing their last game it meant more than just another game to them. Ruskin was ahead until the very last few minutes when we caught upand managed to go on and win. All the girls were on the verge of collapsing for Pack, Beyers, and Campbell had fouled gut. Pack, Beyers and Morris were chosen on the all-star eam. A ze -4-'-- - f-'- fi-iff IMG G-Wifi? TT CUE'-'57
