VARSITY WRESTLING Running stairs at six o'clock in the morning, bleeding and sweat- ing at practice every day, running more, sweating more, and then some . . . The Results: A Prep League Title, First Place in the State Tournament, Eighth in the Nation, and a National Champion in the 105 lb. class. Under the able leadership of their coach, Mr. Glover and captain Ray Hodges, the 1972-73 wrestlers were able to pull themselves together as a fam- ily of devoted and tough minded athletes that would finish the sea- son with a successfull 10-4 record. During the course of the season, the Barons, a fourth year team, traveled far and wide to lock horns with well known wrestling powers across the statef The team's fighting spirit and love for the sport can in no way be over- looked when one considers the achievements of such a team. For the members of the team . . . a taste of victory well deserved, for their dedicated coach . . . a long awaited dream transformed into reality, for the record . . . BARONS FOR EVERMORE.
