One portion of this part of the school is an office area. Here can be found the habitations of Mr. Kinsley, School Board Secretary, Mrs. Catherine Battisti, Secretary to Mr. Thomas, and Mr. Howard F. C. Thomas, Associate Superintendent. Situated in one corner of each new classroom is a miniature drinking fountain, a small sink, a soap dispenser, and a container for towels. On two walls of each new classroom are two smooth, silk-like blackboards for student and teacher use. Of course, there is also a large bulletin board filled with school news or a studentis best work. Another distinctive area is the earth science room. In this room are located a small lab area, geographical equipment, and earth science apparatus. On the far end of the building you will find new girls' and boys' shower rooms. F struction. proud of it. If you just glance at the out- side of our high school build- ing, there is nothing in its appearance which can really distinguish it from the rest of the entire building. Each age, and each generation has those people, who, through selfish motives, tear down or retard the stream of progress in human endeavor. As you Went through the sheltered life at Blue Ridge High School may you at sometime have caught the vision to aspire to nobler things. Remember, success is a journey, not a destina- tion.
