Photo by Greg Smith Shadows How difficult it is to learn somebody new when every bit of you imprinted on my mind in such effortless detail is so reluctant to leave . An etching in love remains so real I feel it seems more me than you. Memories clutching my mindstrings like lost children. A life time built. From girl to woman gone not made to be alone. Sifting now through shadows, finding only pieces that do not fit. The fear lies in not forgetting , when thoughts of you keep letting themselves in the back door to steal my soul and run. Time heals.
