A SCHOOL ADMlNlSTRATOR'S JOB requires the patience of a saint, the tact of a diplomat, the eloquence of an orator and the wisdom of Solomon. Ray A. Kurtz solves the major prob- lems that arise daily in handling a growing school system including 123 professional employees, 60 non-professional employ- ees, and 8 buildings. I-le is assisted by Donald McAfee and the school board. james Romberger, assisted by Theo- dore Cantranis, is in charge of the high school and its activities . Repairing buildings, disciplining stu- dents, preparing speeches, scheduling classes, meeting outside personnel, scheduling buses, organizing lunch pro- grams, and building a better curriculum are some of the responsibilities of the men who keep the schools running smoothly. That the Blue Mountain School System has continued to progress is a tribute to the fine quality and genuine interest of the administration.
