,Progress Pliysically Through u Vifidein Il THE MIGHTY EAGLES began the athletic 1 season with a smashing victory over the Crimson Tide of Pottsville with a score of 20-19, a first for Blue Mountain in a series begun in 1961. ' The 1965 baseball squad captured the South Schuylkill League championship and the coveted District Xl title. Edward Lykins copped the Outstanding Wrestler trophy at the County Wrestling Tournament held at Blue Mountain? White Team defeated Blue Team by a thin margin in the annual Blue and White Sports Night competition. Through the efforts of the administration, athletic director, and coaches, new football, basketball, and baseball uniforms were pur- chased. 10
