DEDICATION We, the members of the Publications class, respectfully dedicate THE 1955 CHIPS to Mr. Blanke, former adviser to THE CHIPS staffs, who, together with Dr. Richards, was largely responsible for publishing the First Annual Yearbook of Community High School in 1936. Mr. Blanke left Community High School at the end of that first year, but he returned in January, 1946, and reassumed the work of publishing the yearbook, con- tinuing in this capacity through 1954. Throughout these years he has been an English teacher and a loyal friend to the members of our student body. lt is in the spirit of gratitude for his helpful instruction, his purposeful direction of former yearbook staffs, and his devoted service to Community High School that we proudly and affectionately dedicate THE 1955 CHIPS to Mr. Clyde Wilbur Blanke.
