It's their job to keep the guns lubricated, painted, and protected from the rough Weather and rough use at General Quarters that they take. They also are responsible for the storage and safety of the tons of high explosives and pyrotecnics kept in the handling rooms and lower magazines about the ship. With the ordnance knowledge of the gunners and the Willingness of the deckforce the Blue comes into its own a s a fighting destroyer.
