HARRIETT ANN WEBSTER Seau CH tCfU EMILY KAY STOLLER ,.vX?iSl V vVv-- : vij LINDA ANN LONG ici Ut We, the class of 1963, finished the last year of the fifth decade as inexperienced freshmen. Our freshman class officers were: president, Dennis Klopfenstein; vice-president, Jack Brady; secretary, Kerry Lanz; and treasurer. Bill Hartwick. Our class advisor was Mr. Fred Hendricks who stayed with the class until its senior year. Our class as a whole had very promising scholastic, athletic, musical, dramatical, and last but not least mischievious potential. A new student. Jack Brady, originally from Payne, proved to be a great asset to the class. His talents added to our class honors scholastically, athletically, dramatically, and mischieviously. As sophomores, we were no longer tyros and we knew it. We elected Jack Brady, president; Paul Jordan vice-president; Linda Stoller, secretary; and Connie Tope, treasurer. Our class officers for the junior year were president. Donna Offerle; vice-president. Jack Brady; secretary, Linda Stoller; and treasurer, Linda Long. We had our first class play, Rest Assured during the year under the direction of Mr. Floyd Lundy. Our senior year commenced with the election of class officers; Donna Offerle, president; Mary Jane Mills, vice-president; Dawn Bartels, secretary; and Kerry Lanz, treasurer. We were supervised by Mr. Robert Friesner, who helped make our last year memorable. Our class play Mumbo Jumbo was a suc- cess with the help of Mr. Floyd Lundy. We have had a full, rich, exciting, educational experience with the help of our dedicated teachers, our parents, the pupils in other classes and our classmates. After our graduation, we finally started on our class trip, the last opportunity to be together as a class. We planned our five-day trip with the help of the Kearney Teen Tour Travel Service Inc. We traveled in a modern reclining-seat Greyhound bus and stopped at Gettysburg on the way to our destination, Washington D.C. Some of our visitations included the Capitol Building, The Congressional Library, The Supreme Court. We also witnessed the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery. We stayed at the modern, air-conditioned accomodations of the Diplomat Motor Hotel. Our meals at Shells, where one could eat as much as he pleased, were very enjoyable. I am positive we all had a wonderful and educational experience we will never forget. We wish to thank Mrs. Carl Ashton and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Friesner for accompaning us on our trip. o N F I F O I R c E R LEFT TO RIGHT: Secretary. Dawn Bartels; President, Donna Offerle; Treasurer, Kerry Lanz:-Vice-President, Mary Jane Mills. ei i TViu We, the members of the talented class of 1963, do hereby will and bequeath some of our extra abilities to those we deem lacking. We, Janet Ashton and Sandra Rinebolt, will our ability to break up the desks in the B. E. room without really trying to any one in next year ' s bookkeeping class! I, Charlotte Baksa, will my mirror to Carolyn Gergory. Now, when I ' m not around, Carolyn, you won ' t have to ask a stranger for one! I, Dawn Bartels, will and bequeath my LOV.E of senior life and my ability to major in after school activities to anyone who enjoys being on a non-stop merry-go-round enough to accept them. Here ' s hoping you won ' t get dizzy! I, Jack Brady, will my ability to mooch food off of my friends in the cafeteria to Maurice Speary. Better practice your bowing and scraping, buddy! I, Judy Carlisle, will my ability to read Lady Macbeth ' s 12th. speech to Nylice Miller. Don ' t get embarrassed, Nylice! I, Ronald Cowell, will my ability to sleep in chemistry class and get away with it to Maurice Speary. I, Jim Covey, will the upcoming Senior Class the ability to resist the senioritis bug, Hope you do as well as we did, kids! I, Victor Hart, will all my abilities to those who read this and think they need them more than I do! I, Rodger Holtsberry, will a bottle of aspirins to Mr. Friesner. No headaches from me next year, coach! I, Kerry Lanz, will my ability to blush to anyone who wants it. Don ' t let it get you down-it ' s good for your circulation. I, Dennis Klopfenstein, will my stack of MAD magazines and a wastepaper basket to Mr. Darwood, since he gets such a kick out of the elementary practice of tearing up and throwing away other people ' s magazines. 1, Alice Lehman, will to all the upcoming students of Mr. Jay the ability to stick with it, even Lf you can only understand half of what he says and none of what he writes! We, Linda Long and Harriett Webster, will our jobs as student bankers to any Juniors who think they can handle the money without temptation! I, Linda Stoller, will my bottle of hair spray to Mary Brady; at the ballgames in the future, when the other cheerleaders forget theirs, Mary wUl always be prepared, I, Connie To{)e, will my slightly used cast to Lucette Stoller ' s growing collection. To Rodney Laukhuf I leave the correction factors that Diana Mills willed to me, that Jack Hungate willed to her. Keep them going. Rod! I, Sarah Yoh, will my Government Book to anyone who can do more with it than I did. And that won ' t be hard, either! We, the undersigned, will to any and all the ability (?) never to meet a deadline. Charles Dunham Paul Jordan William Hartwlck Editor: Alice Lehman ia Pio ecef I, Janet Ashton, while enroute to Dayton in the summer of 1973, trying to locate my old classmate Judy Carlisle, am thinking of what my other classmates are now doing. I ' ll bet Paul Jordan is running a Pizza Palace and is famous for his Comet Sauce he uses on his pizza. Linda Stoller has probably opened a commercial college of her own in her hometown of Haviland, Ohio. She has, of course, hired Donna Offerle to teach the I.B.M. courses. Bill Hartwick no doubt would be head coach at Briceton College. His top cheerleader would be no one but Mary Jane Mills and of course their team is tops. Gayle Rice could only be press secretary to the President of the United States and is releasing that the President, Alice Lehman, is switching from Brand X to Crest. Vic Hart is probably a psychologist and is marriage counselor for the Hollywood stars. I ' ll bet Vic isn ' t alone in Hollywood. Jack Brady by now is modeling clothes in Esquire Magazine. Rodg Holtsberry would be a Colonel and has stopped the invading Cubans from taking Hedges. Stan Mohr, an Admiral by now, has helped Rodg by sailing to Hedges on the Blue Creek. Our scientists would be Ron Cowell and Mike Parker and after years of careful study and experiments they have probably invented a cure for Spring Fever. Sarah Yoh, Diane Stiebeling, and Charlotte Baksa are now traveling economists and are returning from Italy with many new and interesting dishes to try. Some of these new dishes are, no doubt, being featured at Guyton ' s Drive-In where Kerry Lanz would be head chef. Replacing the Everly Brothers by now would be Jim Covey and Dennis Klopfenstein. They ' ve probably won hundreds of gold records by now. Emily Stoller and Dawn Bartels have without a doubt expanded their nvirsing career so far that they are being considered for a role on The Nurses. Sandra Rinebolt has probably opened a beauty solon of her own and has employed two top hair stylists Harriett Webster and Linda Long. Connie Tope is connected with the Foreign Service and is in Cuba by now. Chuck Dunham would be an educated farmer and has come up with a new way of fattening cows. He feeds them cornflakes. The Grand Ole Oprey has added to its old time favorites Stella and Carolyn Gregory. I ' ve finally arrived at Judy ' s and find she is a very successful secretary.
