Class History We, the Blue Creek Class of ' 62, entered Blue Creek High School in 1959 as green freshmen. There was a total of thirty-four students in our class. The officers for the year were: President, Linda Colley; Vice-President, Mike Cadwallader; Secretary, Pat Laukhuf; Treasurer, Rita Foust; Student Council, Lynn Mohr and Elizabeth Dunham. We started back to high school in the fall of 1959 as silly, skeptical sophomores. We entered the year with a total of twenty-eight students. We lost Glen Baker, Charlotte Baska, Gary Bennett, Russell Comer, Ray Foust, Gary Johnson, and Von Saum. We gained Ruth Adkins. The officers for this year were: President, Richard Niswander; Vice- President, Doug Waltz; Secretary, Elizabeth Dunham; Treasurer, Pat Laukhuf; Student Council, Roger Pond and Lynn Mohr. Our class advisor for this year was Mr. Lambright. We started back to high school in the fall of I960 as the silly, confused juniors. We enter- ed this year with a total of twenty-four students. We lost Ruth Adkins, Beverly Pollard, John Gillet, Ronald Williams, and Karen Puckett. We gained one student, Shirley Hundley. The officers for this year were: President, Elizabeth Dunham; Vice-President, Lynn Mohr; Secretary, Pat Laukhuf; Treasurer, Rita Foust; Student Council, Roger Pond and Diana Mills. This year was one of our main moneymaking years. We had the concession stand, dances, and many other activities. We presented our first class play entitled, Our Hearts Were Young and Gay. Our advisor for this year was Mr. Lambright. We entered our senior year in the fall of 1961. At that time we had twenty-two students. We lost Lorine Weible, and David Rodman. The officers were: President, Eugene Gray; Vice-President, Glenn Bauer; Secretary, Pat Laukhuf; Treasurer, Rita Foust; Student Council, Roger Pond, Mike Cadwallader, and Lynn Mohr. This was another big year with dances, skating parties, and other things to make money for our class trip to Washington, D. C. Our class play this year was One Wild Night.
