SEPT. OCT. NOV. DEC . JAN . 10. Out all day for the Van Wert Fair. Hip Hip Hurray! 1 16. Seniors sponsored Variety Supper and a program by the Southland Singers. 20, Played a game at Antwerp tonight. Our boys really are humdingers. V School Calendar 8. Started back to school again, but only for half a day. l i We all like Mr. von Ana. We really mink has fine. ' 11. Classes elect their officers. Now who do you have in mind? it 22. Mixed Chorus had night practice. lt's really lots of fun. 23. Annual Staff was posted. Editor--Max Pease---the lucky one? 1. Watched the World Series on TV at school. , 9. Seniors had a skating party. Oh--play it cool! I 12. Most classes had their pictures taken. Now watch the birdie. 15. Seniors had theirs taken too. Make sure you're settin' pretty. V 19. Seniors were excused from school to sell ads. We worked, and we might have played. Hal 22. High school had their Halloween Party. Boy, what a parade. 23. No school because of Teachers Meeting, but none of us really cared. 26. Seniors got their proofs back. Oo ahead and look. Don't be scared. 30. .luniors had their class play. The title, Finders Creepers. 31. Tonight is Halloween, you know. What was that? OH, JEEPERSl 6. Had our first basketball game at Sherwood. Of course, our boys won. 10. Seniors had another skating party. We really did have fun. 13. Men from different Railroads came and talked to us about our class trip. Had a ball game with Grover Hill tonight. Yea, team, let er rip! l l l I I 21. Another game played tonight. Hurray! We beat H. J. ,l 23 Excused all day for hunting. Remember, only two birds a day. 24. Wren came here for a ball game tonight. Our boys are doing fine. 25. Had a Thanksgiving program this afternoon. No one forgot his line. ll 25. Seniors had a surprise birthday party on Mr. Hills, and he really was surprised. ',. 26. Thanksgiving Day. We've lots to be thankful for--much more than we've realized. ll l 2. Seniors served for Teachers' Banquet. The chorus furnished entertainment. 4 lnformal pictures are to be taken. Now, let's have no delayment. ' 1 i 1 l'1 4. Played Oakwood here tonight. Everything's going swell. 11. We won over Payne. Will we be in the tournament? Only time will tell. ,ii li' 1 14. Seniors got their pictures today. Everybody's turned out fine. ' 17. High school had their Christmas Party. We really had a good time. 1 20. The chorus sang at an Oakwood Church. When we finished, they gave us all a treat. l 22. The school had a Christmas program, too. Of course, we thought it couldn't be beat. 'l l 23. Had a ball game at Hamler and it was our first defeat. l 30. But we won the Holiday tournament. Our boys are really neat. f 31. New Years Eve. We had a great big party. P 4. Had to be back to school again and everyone was tardy. 5. We won' the game with Van Del. It wasn't too awfully hard. 8. Antwerp tried to beat us too, but they were really iarred. 1. I4-I5 I5 26 27-28 30 FEB. I I 2 3 5 I2 I6 22 25 27 MAR. 3 3-4 4 6. I5 20 APR. 3 8 9 IO I3 I6 I8 24 27 MAY Il I4 23 26 27 31 JUNE 3 Semester Exams. Oh, what a pain in the neck! Beat Payne in a game tonight. We're right up on deck. Nillshire beat us in our game tonight, but l guess we shouldn't feel too bad. Community Institute was held in the gym. We all liked the programs they had. Played Mark Center here tonight. Once again our boys lost. We got to go home from school this morning because the electricity went off. G. A. A. went to the Y at Van Wert, to swim, eat, and skate. Beat our game at Paulding. Boy, how we do ratel Students were excused in the afternoon to go to the Polio Benefit Show. Won the game with Ohio City. Yea Team! Let's Go! We won the game at Grover Hill. lt really was a riot. A fellow came and mode music with bells. Some of you ought to try it. We all know who George Washington was. To him, we've lots to pay. We didn't have any school, because it is his birthday. We beat Oakwood in the tournament. By all means, it wasn't dull. Tonight, we won over Grover Hill. It really was a close call. Out all day. Hurray for the snow storml Seniors measured for cap and gown. Oh--what a form! Tournament at Celina. We won 57-56 over Wren. We lost to Delphos Jefferson, but we surely tried to win. This is our dead line. What an awful mess. From here on out l'll just have to guess. Girls' and Boys' Ensembles go to Lima for Music Contest. Chorus Contest is at Bluffton. We'll show them just who's beat. Tonight is o big night. The seniors have their class play, Teachers Meeting. Hurray, no schooll That makes us all real gay. Ensembles Q0 to State Contest. Who do you think will get it? Magician performed for us today. He gets things in less than a minute. No school. It is Good Friday. Let's all treat it as such. Today is Easter. Christ Arose. That's why it means so much. The ones who got superior at District go to State. Let's gi ve them a great big cheer. Juniors had a skating party. First one they've had all year. Juniors have another party. They must really like to skate. School has a musical program. Let's go. ls it a date? Baccalaureate Service was very nice, as everybody knows. Teachers Meeting. Excused all day. Schogl ig coming to a close. Commencement Services. The time has come for each to walk alone. Last day of school. Now the Seniors are out on their own. Juniors and Seniors start on their trip. They're going to New York City. Home again. The trip is over. Now isn't that a pity! That's all for now. School is closed. lt's been a busy year.
