Begging for Money! Cant you spore o quarter? Nor even one small dime?!” Anyone who stepped foot on compus during Calendar Couple Week heard this familiar line or least o thousand rimes. All of the 1985 Calendar Couples spend this week continuously pleading with their classmates to donate every penny they possibly could At the end of the week, each couple wos given o title according to the amount of money they collected. The proceeds went to the 1985 Sabertooth. Mr. ond Miss Sabertooth, the overoll winners, were Keith Whitfield ond Peggy Ploir. Together they collected $182 of the $800 raised for the yearbook. Pay Yoger ond Kelli Peacock, representing the FBLA, were named Mr. ond Miss January. They brought in $170. There wos o tie for third place between Amy Johnson ond Jackie Tilson, representing the Student Council ond Eddie Clemons ond Liso Bozeman, representing the FFA.
