As a member of the faculty of Blossom High School since 1947, Miss Alta Hawkes has transmitted lasting values to all the students with whom she has come in contact. Her quick smile, keen sense of humor and wholesome philosophy of life are qualities that have won for her a place of high regard in the hearts of students, faculty and pa- trons of Blossom School. Certainly, you richly deserve congratulations, but I think it most fitting in line with your teachings of Blossom High School, both by precept and example, that I use your fine production as a means of extend- ing best wishes to the students of Blossom High for their great spirit during this past year, not only in academic work but in extra curricular activities. Thanks to the faculty, school board, patrons of the school, for their interest in helping to make our school one of the best. with your help, we may continue to build, perhaps not in a material love for which to May ed, be a sense, but build for future citizenship, better homes, a the good things of life, and for a peaceful world in live. the knowledge that we have gained, the friendships form- lasting influence upon our lives, to such an extent, that in years to come we may look back and say, a job well done.
