Japanese Awareness Week, March 18- 24, was held here at BSC in appreciation ot a grant received from the Toyota Corpora- tion. This grant was given to 18 non-profit organizations to establish a closer relation- ship between the U.S. and Japan. The program for Japanese Awareness Week was conducted by the Advisory Com- mittee to International Education. Various workshops were provided for student inter- est. Nanae Momiyama presented Japanese brush painting, Atsushi Moriyasu illustrated kite making, and Saeko Ichinohe performed a Kabuki dance. Other workshops included: flower arranging, a film festival, lectures by an International Business and Trade sem nar, plus a Japanese dinner organized by Mrs. Murphy in the Commons on Thursday.
