There were still some havens of rest open to us — places where the ever-expanding herd of earth movers had not trespassed. The shadows were still the same in front of Old North Hall and Waller Hall. The serenity of Navy Hall had not been disturbed. Many places were left for us to go and enjoy the peace that was Rloomsburg. Still . . . iv M i ■ % ' Jk %

It might lie in the middle of a stimulating lecture, or an interesting film, or a final examination. Sooner or later, everyone began to become interested in the progress of the con- struction. All of us would lake our daily walk past the site of construction and check to see just how the project was progressing. The spirit of expansion and growth soon made its presence felt on the entire college community. Just the same . . . All of us are looking forward to the day when the earth movers, cranes, derricks, and ce- ment mixers have left RIoomsburg and we can once more ramble about the campus in peace and tranquility — A consummation devoutly to be wished.
