A LETTER TO THE READERS: It is the sole purpose of your 1957 OBITER editors and staff that when you browse through this book you will recall those memories of Bloomsburg State Teachers College that have become so dear to you during your college career. Time may fade places, names, and faces. Future events in your lives will tend to overshadow what are presently vivid images. To each graduate and underclassman, Bloomsburg holds a special significance. It is impossible to recapture in these few pages every memorable moment of your life at the Friendly College on the Hill. However, we have attempted to include a small portion of every college phase— your activities, friendships, classes, and social life. If, twenty years from now, you can leaf through the pages of your 1957 OBITER and fondly relive your college days, we shall feel that our efforts in compiling this book were not in vain.
