DEDICATION To the indomitable spirit of the builders of Blooms- burg State Teachers College, this book is dedicated. As members of the class to graduate during the celebration of the one-hundredth anniversary of our school, we, the class of nineteen hundred and thirty nine, wish to pay tribute to the spirit which blazed the trail for progress. The spirit of the early teachers who contributed so much to the development of the school is still with us. It has grown through the years and is now exemplified in the fine academic program and in the extensive build- ing proiects on our campus. As we face a new world, full of life, motion, and ceaseless progress, we shall try to uphold the spirit and to carrv on the traditions of one hundred years ' growth.
