HAROLD HIDLAY Advisor The Student Council tries to make school life pleasant for all, but occasionally there arise discip- linary problems. The Student Council has a police forcefthe Monitor lforee. Thee monitors have charge of keeping the halls in trood order. During: the year 15956-57, a Court System 'was devised and any person breaking: one or more of the laws stated in the Code of Conduct was given :i summons to appear before the Student Court. There, under the guidance of Judge Ned Coates, eases were tried and those found guilty were punished accordingly, Under the leadership of President William Graham, the 1956-57 Student Count-il met regularly to dispose of the business of the council and to make school life more democratic through its function. Thl'0UEll their representatives, each homeroom has a voiee in making decisions, suggesting: improvements, and planning special events. One of these special events is the Talent Show. The proizrani is one of gait-ly, humor, and enjoyable entertainment throuirh the talents of many of the liloomshuriz lliuh Sehool students. The Talent Show is an annual feature and is open to the pulilie. All profit is used for school improvements or scholarships under Student Couneil auspiees.
