OUR FACULTY We have been guided through school in the last six years by a group of very fine and friendly teachers Come along with us and look back over those happy years and meet the teachers as we see them Mrs Harvey taught us correct spelling and tried to help us get started on the right foot Mr Hutton saw that we were mstructed in United States Geog raphy Miss Lawson made hlstory interesting by combining ancient and recent history in her classes Miss Trivelpiece introduced little mathematical terms called fractions Mr W Fisher who lS a whiz in mathematics makes the problems seem very easy Mr Golder taught us the art of good English and also the art of good basketball Mr I-I R Miller brought the picturesque side of geography right into the classroom Miss Sharpless taught all the early American history there was to know plus keeping up with current events lV'r Thomas while teaching family relations also discussed the sports world Miss Bowman assigned our first glimpse of Shakespeare Scott and other great writers Mr Campbell taught algebra as well as general science M H1dlay showed each student the art of being a good American citizen Miss Schuyler thrills her many pupils with Roman Banquets durmg the Latin course Mr Mordan by drilling formulas and equatlons into your head makes diliicult math seem simple Mr Barton or Croomng Bill teaches law and there is never a dull moment Miss McK1nstry teaches very enjoyable English classes we learned the art of talking before a group Mr H L Miller along with teaching busi ness subjects directs the all school play and the sen1or class play Mr Sands knows all in world and American history and is well known for his historical stories Miss Jones IS noted for her English grammar and oral book reports Miss Mr Maneval teaches the bright young students how to converse in French and Spamsh Miss Pensyl is eager to help each student select his vocatlon Mr Shutt the sophomore girls Frank Smatra teaches the commercial students the skill of bemg good secretaries Mr Brink modermzes the pupils mmds with his chemistry classes Mrs Khne IS known for term papers and diversified senior Enghsh course M Mercer supports all sport programs and teaches math Mr Williams enjoys teaching along w1th having birthday parties Mr Cox who always has a smile for everyone teaches the related subjects Mr Litwhxler taught the boys taking vocational agriculture Miss Kapp IS doing a swell job with the special classes Mr Eunson helped the fellows to get started m vocational directions Mr Faust a favorite with the auto boys teaches them how to be good mechanics Mr A Fisher d1d an excellent job with the stage crew and had umque art classes Mr Freed or Uncle Walter turned out a good marching band and a very successful Spring Concert Mrs Radice keeps the students well and smiling Miss Gundlach keeps the girls trim with her many games and exerclses Mr Pollock develpos the young mens muscles by football and gymnastics Mr Halre directs the vocational classes and teaches a mechanical drawing course Mr Reed trams line secretaries as well as turning out champion J V basketball players Miss Kegerize a friend of everyone and always smiling advlsed the staffs of the Red and White and the Memorabilia Miss Nichols ability to keep classes interesting encouraged the girls toward home making Mrs Rumer and Mrs Albertson besides their cheerful ways are very efficient office workers 10 ' ' 1 . 1 .
