DEDICATIO This year, we, the senior class, respect- fully dedicate our Memorabilia to Nor- man A. Yeany who retired from teaching in l945, his retirement ending the long and successful career of a lovable man whom everyone admired and held in high esteem. Mr. Yeany began his education in a small country school, but his next step was Gettysburg College where he re- ceived his Bachelor's Degree. He con- tinued his work for his Master's Degree at Chicago University. From there he attended Beckley, Elizabethtown College and New York University. Mr. Yeany holds one of the three old certificates in the county, that is, a certifi- cate on which is listed all the subjects he took in college. He taught in Shenondale, Kirkwood, Steelton, and for sixteen years in Blooms- burg. This book is a small payment of our gratitude to Norman A. Yeany, our ad- viser and friend. We will never forget him.
