Silver Triangle Vote for your choice of king and queenlv was heard from several of the members of Silver Triangle around carnival time. This club sponsors the king and queen contest for the Winter Car- nival. Each year Silver Tri customarily gives a scholarship, but last year they gave fifty dollars to the auditorium fund instead. Two socials were given this year. The fresh- men and sophomores are permitted to have one social each. The members of the Silver Triangle cabinet are Suzanne Graves, president, Becky Sare, vice- president, Linda Hash, secretary, Joyce Ander- son, treasurer, Patty Chestnut, program chair- mang Tamara Stewart, social chairmang Glenda Bruner, service chairman, Linda Hollingsworth, publicity chairman, and Katherine Bush, devo- tions chairman. Miss Mary Helen McAninch is the sponsor. Y-Teens To build character, personality, and a religious faith is the purpose of the seventh and eighth grade Y-Teens, a branch of the Young Women's Christian Association. The group is divided into two sections. One group is composed of seventh grade girls. Their otlicers were Susan Jean, president, Judy Davis, vice-president, Terresa Thompson, secretary, and Kathleen Freeman, treasurer. Some of the activities were co-sponsoring a check room with the eighth grade Y-Teens at the carnival, and a skating party. The sponsor is Mrs. Blanchaeline Johnson. The other group is composed of eighth grade girls. Their oflicers were Starr Sare, president, Gloria Faris, vice-president, Marceta Binkley, secretary, and Deloris Funkhouser, treasurer. The club initiated the seventh grade members last fall. Mrs. Frances Atkins is the sponsor.
