Student Council To promote harmonious relationships through- out the entire school, to maintain co-operation hetween teachers and students, to act as host to visitors, and to maintain a satisfactory school spirit are some of the objectives of the Student Council. The Student Council is an organization which provides a forum for student expression through- out the entire school. Two students are elected from each of the home rooms to act as repre- sentatives to the council. From this group the ofiicers plus an elected student from each grade level make up what is called the Executive Com- mittee oi the council. This committee acts as a reviewing hoard and considers important issues which are to he presented to the council. Besides helping with community and national funds such as Community Chest, Tuberculosis Drive, and the Bed Cross Drive, the Student Council super- vises the election of the yell leaders, provides hall monitors for noon period supervision, spon- sors many of the after-game dances, provides student representation for facility committees, STUDEN lfuff' our Larry lAN'lil'lllMl', til:-nda Ilruner.
