Clean speech, clean sports, clean scholarship, and clean liv- ing, is the platform of the Junior-Senior Hi-Y, a branch of the Y.M.C.A. Any junior or senior boy may be a member of this service club. To build a fellowship of women and girls devoted to the task of realizing in our common life those ideals of personal and social living to which we are committed by our faith as Christians, is the purpose of the eighth grade Y-Teen Club. At each meeting the girls conduct their devotional serv- ices, then they present their programs or have guest speakers. The girls were in charge of the coat-check room at the Winter Carnival. On October 28 of this year, the club initiated new seventh grade members. The club also had a roller skating party. This club is the junior branch of the Y.W.C.A., a girls' religious organization. This was heard often the night of the Winter Carnival as the members of the seventh grade Y-Teen sponsored a coat-check room. This club also sponsored Winter Wonderland, a dance held in the girl's gym at Christmas. Members of the club collected money and sent a gift basket to a needy family for Christmas. The club had some guest speakers for their meetings, and the members of the club also put on their own pro- grams. The seventh grade Y-Teen open only to the seventh grade girls is a junior division of the Y.W.C.A. The purpose of the club is to promote friendship, serv- ice, and religious interest among the girls. Other activities included a dance, partici- pation in a clothing drive, and repairing auditorium seats.
