Good character is the point stressed by Silver Triangle. The Silver Triangle is a branch of the Young Women's Christian Association and is an organization for fresh- man and sophomore girls. One of the main projects of the Silver Triangle was sponsoring the popular King and Queen Contest at the Winter Carnival. Other projects planned for the year were a style show and raising money for the swimming pool fund. Also, a social event was held both semesters. A program was sometimes given at the meetings which were held each month. Many times these programs showed ways in which a girl could improve herself both mentally and morally. In the spring, the sopho- more members of the Silver Triangle were invited to be the guests of the Blue Triangle at the installation of its new oflicers. Officers are elected in the spring for the following year. Elected to serve as oilicers for this year were Joan Bena- vole, presidentg Paddy Engle, vice presidentg Janice Koressel, secretary, Nancy Branum, treasurer. Miss Helen McAninch is sponsor of this organization. This Page Sponsored by IIVILLIAMS UPHOLSTEKY 919 S. Wfalrzut Street
