.Q- lb rd-ll Thi! if What The A - l Homecoming was held at Bloomington High School this year for the first time in the history of the school. Bloomington's opponent in this homecoming game was the Wiley of Terre Haute team. Instead of a regular pep session, the senior class sponsored a homecoming parade. All classes assembled in the Seminary Circle and marched to town in the order of classes. The parade was led by the band after which came the football team, queen candidates, the cheerleaders, and the football coaches. While in town, the students were led in cheers by the varsity cheerleaders. Each class made signs and posters urging the B.H.S. team on. The Winter Carnival was the event in which all clubs took part. This carnival was sponsored by the Bloomington High School Student Council. Each club presented a show or a booth. Rosanne Zink and Millard Hacker were crowned queen and king of the Winter Carnival, A few of the projects were The Maharajah of Magadorf' presented by the senior class, The Junior Jive of '55, presented by the junior class, The House of Dracula, presented by the Na- tional Scientific Honor Society, and the Roman Underworld, sponsored by the Latin Club.
