Boys and girls who have taken health and safety are entitled to a semester of inside driving. Car units, which were made by the shop classes, include a clutch, brake, accelerator, gear shift, and steering wheel. As the beginners interpret the signals given by the instructor, Mr. Groh checks each student's driving skill on a control board indicator.
