To give us a view of the events of the present in the light of the past, the social studies department offers courses in world and United States history. Occupations is offered to familiarize the student with various vocations, and through the community living course he gains an interest in his community. The social studies faculty acquaints us with a working knowledge of our government and the importance of acting intelligently to preserve our democratic heritage. Krueger.
