union Girl Reserves The Junior Girl Reserves, the youngest branch of the Y W. C. A., is composed of seventh and f eighth grade girls. Prominent social events during the year were the Christ- mas Party with the Torch Club, and the Annual Spring Outing. Silver Triang le The Silver Triangle girls, freshmen-sophomore branch of the Y. W. C. A., proved themselves Ready for Service, by offering their assistance from three until five o'clock in the afternoon at the Day Nursery. Two parties with the Freshmen-Sophomore Hi-Y, a pot- luck, and a Mother-Daughter banquet, concluded the out- standing features of the year. Officers of this club are: Rebekah Bruton, president, Patsy Fowler, vice-president, Dorothy Chitwood, secretary, and Miss Brengle and Miss LeSaulnier, sponsors.

l HI-Y FEDERATION OFFICERS Front Row: Howard House, secretary, James Mathis, vice-president. Back Row: Mr. Mathis, sponsor, Don Helton, sergeant- at-'armsg Bill McNamara, treasurerg Dick Hickam, president. H z'- Y Federation The Hi-Y Federation is the combination of all three Hi-Y organizations. The Federation sent the presidents of each of the Hi-Y clubs to the State Older Boys' Conference in Indianapolis on November 27 and 28. A Mother and Son Banquet was .held the latter part of April for all members and their mothers. W The boys in the Junior-Sfnior Hi-Y sold pop and ice cream at the home basketball games. Officers are: Pete Poolitsan, president 3 Dudley Colbert, vice-president, Herbert Beard, secretary, and Jennings Polley, treasurer. Mr. Brogneaux sponsors the club. The activities for the Freshman-Sophomore Hi-Y began with a serious initiation ceremony. Picnics and parties with the Silver Triangle, basketball parties, movies, and speakers made up the social events of the year. Officers for this club are: Bill Salmon, presidentg Ray Phelps, vice- presidentg Roger Miller, treasurer, Dick Crowe, sergeant at arms, and Ted Murphy, chairman of initiation committee. The club sponsor is Mr. Vaughn. The Torch Club, Junior High branch of the Hi-Y, endeavored to increase the church membership and attendance of students this year. Officers for this club are: Roland Brown, prcsidentg Bob Swango, vice-president, Kent Carter, secretary, and John Haydock, treasurer. Mr. Myers is the sponsor of the group.
