BLUE TRI CABINET Margorie Burns, president: Mrs. Franklin, sponsor, Thekla Thrash- er vlce president, Betty Lanam, Mary Lee Adams, Betty Myers, Mar- Jorie Schneider, Joy Lentz, treasurerg Catherine Fox. BLUE TRI CANDY TABLE Joy Lentz, Marjorie Burns, Catherine Fox. flue Triang le To find and give the best is the purpose of the Blue Triangle, the largest and oldest all girl organization in B. H. S. -- a branch of the Y. W. C. A. composed of junior and senior girls. The Blue Triangle opened its activities this year with an impressive candle light initiation service in the high school auditorium followed that evening by a Get Acquainted Potluck. In November the dignified seniors and the industrious juniors decked with short dresses, pigtails, big hairbows, and suckers turned out for the Kid Party. At Christmas time the girls volunteered to sacrifice their party to buy oranges for the Christmas baskets. The biggest event of the year was the Guest Night program. Service rings were awarded at this time to the girls who had done outstanding work in the Blue Triangle. Other important incidents of the year consisted of a Valentine Potluck, a Junior-Senior Send-off, and an Easter convocation. The Blue Triangle candy table in the front hall has become a favorite site for all students and teachers with a sweet tooth. A part of the profits from the candy sale goto the I. U. scholarship, which is presented each year to a senior girl.
