A boy and girl posting pretty pictures on a mounting board. A typist hitting the keys at sixty words a minute. Any one of the three sponsors that might be there looking over people's shoulders and generally interfering with everybody. A zealous business manager and his equally zealous assistants with their heads together plot- ting how to break down sales resistance. That's the Gothic Office. Charles l-lomann was chosen editor-in-chief and Bob Ratchford business manager by the Class of l942 last spring. Once started, the annual gradually assumed bulky proportions, then rolled through the printing press, and finally emerged as the new Gothic of lQ42. luliari lxlcforirnl
