During the school year of 1906-7 several plays were Iwguri hut on account of the unsettled condition of school affairs no public performances were attempted. At the beginning of the- pi cent school year much interest was shown by the students ■ .1 the school. After three tryout» the membership was increased to twenty one. This year is the third time mi undertaking of this kind has ever hern attempted m Bloomington High School Last October, Walter Woodbum, Hnmiltou Keck and Glen McDaniels »1 tried a movement among the musically inclined of the school An n result, a meeting was called, and an organization effected with Walter Wool hum, President, and Hamilton Keck, Secretary and Treasurer Mr K. J. Burton, who formerly directed the orchestra at NoMcsville High School, was ««cured as director The Orchestra is composed of seventeen members at present. Their Chapel program»: are rousing, their first recital was a success and brilliant hopes for the closing of the year will no doubt be fully realized.
