THE CATS The Bobcats of B.M.5. started the 1988 football season off strong, posting victories over rivals 5t. Joe and Louise, but when the Qanado game was cancelled due to Hurricane Gil- bert, the Cats could never seem to regain their early form. The Bobcats lost six games before gaining a tie against Karnes City in the final game, ending the season at 2-6-1. The bad news for the Bobcats was the loss of such seniors as Mector Ortiz and Danny 5epulveda, but the good news was the return of almost twenty lettermen for next year. Hou cmuMg Occaiumi Homecoming week at B.M.5. was an exciting and festive time for the students, and faculty of B.M.5. Activities included togas, silks, and black veils. The crowning of the Queen and dancing the night away ended the whirl of Homecoming events. The many memories created throughout the week will remain with us as we head into the future.
