2.7.5. 7 S X-.Ernest Fudge Trevino, a Senior at BHS was selected Best All Around Boy. Fudge played football 3 years. He was selected Silly Sophomore, Jolly Junior, and Most Outgoing Personality. Fudge plans to get a good steady job but wishes, most of all, to stay in touch with his fellow classmates. Irene Garcia, a Senior at BHS was selected Best All Around Girl. Irene is active in volleyball and was selected 1st team all-district in 1981 and most valuable player in 1980. ln basketball, she was awarded Honorable Mention All-District and Defense Award in 1980-81. She was also selected Football Sweetheart in 1980-81. Irene is an active member in the NHS, Emerald Starrs, and Student Council. She likes participating in sports, reading, dancing, and riding on motorcycles. Irene plans to attend a major university, either for sports or a career in chemical engineering. - f borenzo Garza, a Senior at BHS was selected Mr. BHS. Lorenzo has lettered 2 years in football and basketball and 3 years in track. He was selected 2nd team all district corner back his Senior year. Lorenzo is the Senior class vice- president and likes sports and fishing. He plans to attend TSTI and study instrumentation after graduation. Sarah Rush, a Senior at BHS, was selected Miss BHS. She has made all-district Band and at- tended state Solo and Ensemble contest in Stage Band. Sarah was selected Homecoming Princess, Miss Senior, Band Sweetheart, and received a Division I rating in UIL twirling making her eligible for State competition. She is also an active member in NHS and secretary for the 4-H club. Sarah enjoys ceramics, sewing and raising dogs. She plans to attend The University of Houston at Victoria to study accounting.

19877-X2 Ernest Fudge Trevino, a Senior at BHS, was selected Most Spirited Boy. He has been a member of the Spanish Club for 3 years and the VICA Club where he served as the reporter. He was elected Emerald Starr Beau during the 1981-82 school year. Fudge likes to observe and participate in all kinds of sports. He is quite competitive in the skill of billiards, enjoys meeting girls, and particularly enjoys having a good time with his friends. Christine Boedeker, a Senior at BHS, was elected Most Spirited Girl. She has been a member for four years of the Student Council, the FFA for 4 yrs., and the NHS for 3 years of which she served as president. She also is active in athletics. Christine plans to go to college and major in Animal Science. She enjoys sports, reading, and working outside with the yard and plants. K.. ,gogi-larraid, Jr., ja Senior at BHS, was elected Most Hand- some. Bob was selected to attend the American Legion's Boys' State in the summer of '81. He won first place in the Voice of Democracy Speech Contest during his Senior year. He has been a member of the FFA organization for 4 yrs. where he served as the La Bahia District Vice-President. Also during his Senior year, he served as the FSA president. Bob lettered for three years in foot- ball and 4 yrs. in basketball. Bob plans to attend Victoria College and get a degree in the science related field from a major college. He enjoys playing and watching all kinds of sports. Sylvia King, a Senior at BHS, was elected Most Beautiful. She has been a member ofthe band for 4 yrs., the Student Coun- cil, of which she serves as the 1981-82 president, the NHS Organization, serving as secretary, the FHA, and is honored in the Who's Who Among American High School Students. This 1981-82 year she served as Miss Flame and Homecoming Princess. Sylvia plans to attend The University of Texas in Austin majoring in electrical engineering.
