Without each individual playing a major role in establishing and conduc- ting the affairs of B.H.S., our school would not function properly and the process ot education would not be complete. 4 The 1981-82 school year was filled with a variety of academic and social activities. Whenever the students needed a break from their everyday routine of studying, they found time to play, dress up, act up, and sometimes, just rest. ...wi- Nz -..,,.. The Varsity Lady Cats did not go high on the district ladder, but they stayed enthusiastic and made good showings at tournaments. The Jr. Varsity, an eager team of girls, really showed a great deal of skill while practicing, but during their scheduled games would, ac- cording to their coach, become too eager for a win and would make small mistakes that would set them back. Due to the lack of unscheduled games, the Freshman players didn't get the opportunity to show their fullest potential. They worked and played hard together as a team. Their enthusiasm and their will to win never faded in the heat of the game. But injuries to key players definitely hampered the Cat's chance of securing a good position in district play. Although it was not a winning season on the scoreboard, the Bobcat's continued to work hard and play with a winning attitude. 6414 2 '32 Varsity, L to R: Jaime Diaz, Paul Canales, Bob Harraid, Jr., John Sullivan, Terry Hayes, Curtice Brennan, Lorenzo Garza, Adolph Escalante, Elroy Alex, Bobby Carbajal, and Coach Larry Puckett, front.
