Many folks have tried painting at one time or another . . . we, too, dabble in oils, tempera and crisp watercolor. On pages to follow we've tried to put our impressions of our brief school years down. We'd like you, our readers to gel an abridged picture of what happened to us, the class of '56, in good, old B.H.S. We liked its forcefulnoss ... its merrymaking ... its splendid corps of teachers and administrators . . . the smell of hot popcorn at game time ... the pastel-hued ranch pants on Fridays . . . and its formal affairs, too. And best of all. its friendliness to newcomers and pals. An abundance of cooperation and kindnesses in our community have made this book possibi and our success in meeting deadlines for Bloomington high school's largest yearbook has been made possible in part by many persons. For their particular cooperation it is only fit that we publicly thank The Bloomington Sun for photos used The Minneapolis Star and Tribune for photos used Mr. Burton Quern for aid in taking aerial shots Mr. Joseph Hackett for his aid in taking pictures Mr. Robert Pritchard for his good humored cooperation in making prints and negatives The Taylor Publishing Company for its fine job and its staff for their aid in making changes that were necessary. And last but not least, the faculty of BHS for their cooperation in scheduling pictures and for their aid in establishing factual materials and identification.
