SENIOR CUSS LIFE’S MAJOR ISSUES OF 1955 WERE IN THEIR HANDS Senior class officers started off the year with a heavy load of activities including homecoming, after the game dances, trip to Chicago, selection of cards and announcements and choosing the official photographer for the yearbook. Class sponsor for the year as in the past was Mr. Hoblit, principal of the senior high. The officers worked with a committee of teachers to help plan the homecoming. Starting Thursday with the coronation of the King and Queen with a variety show in her honor. Festivities included a bonfire that night where cheerleaders took charge. Friday night a semi-formal dance was held after the game. After the game dances were held to raise money for the purpose of raising money to pay the way of the chaperones for the Chicago trip which the seniors take annually. 21
