HO OR SCCIETY FORMS A CLUB As always, it's an honor to be included in the National Honor Society. This year it was made extra special with the form- ing of the Honor Society Club. Meetings were held regularly with su- pervisors Mrs. Mizell, Mrs. Haeffele, and Mrs. Detweiler. The idea was to involve the students in activities specifically designed to encourage leadership, character, schol- arship, and service to the community. A 4.0 grade point average was needed to be accepted in the National Honor Soci- ety. Students accepted participated in car washes, volleyball games, and several ban- quets. They also prepared and conducted both of their initiation ceremonies for in- coming members.
