Wayout characters Sue Farlin, Barbara Read, Kathryn Bell ffront, left to righly, Pamela Sperlm and lohn Nolte sat down long enough to check out the cool atmosphere. Students Played, Danced At School Parties More than 400 students crowded into the Hexpresso house during one of the intermissions at the junior party to hear the songs of a small combo. The Beatnik Ball offered a variety of activities to all of the students who attended the junior-sponsored party. They Promoted Teas, Attended Receptions Student Council sponsored dances following every Friday basketball game throughout the season.. Although music was usually recorded, dance music provided by the swing band always attracted the greatest attention.
