Throughout the year, they attended conventions, workshops, institutes, special classes, and faculty meet- ings in their never ending search for knowledge and better methods ol: instructing students. They used many sessions with parents to gain further information about their students. They spent untold hours preparing lesson plans, marking papers, and giving extra help. All of their laloors and their patience indicated that they had a profound understanding of human nature and a genuine lilcing for young people. They were dignified. They were understanding. They were stern. They were sympathetic.
