Harn Instrumental Music 1 They Emphasized The Value Of Fine Morals And Manners During the day we sometimes thought our teachers were mean, cranky, grouchy indi- viduals, intent only on giving as many sei'- enth hours as possible. But we knew that when they left the school building they be- came normal people, interested in getting home to their families, putting on the roast, going out for dinner, or spending a quiet evening at home. Not only did our teachers suppomt the student body during the day, but many of them made it a point to attend as many ath- letic functions, dramatic productions, and music programs as possible. Much credit goes, also, to faculty members behind the scenes of these activities, who gave up their own time to lend a helping hand to students.
