D. and his M. A. degrees. Before coming lo Bloominglon Mr. Wells had esfeblished a repulafion as a suc- cessful execulive, and we are happy lo have him as 'the head of our enfire school sysfem. THE PRINCIPAL THE DEAN Mr. Kurlz was born in Bloomingfon, Illinois, and alfended grade school and high school here. He had Ihe honor of being presidenl and valediclorian of his senior class, gradualing in I9I3. AI Illinois Wesleyan Universiiy he received his bachelors degree in I9I7.
