After grad- uatung from Southern Illinois State Normal he went to The University of Chicago where he graduated with honors in the Department of Educatuon. From the University of Chicago he received his B. A. and M. A. degrees and has completed his work for o Ph. D. with tne exception ot a thesis, Mr. Wells is completing his second year as Superintendent ot Public Schools in Bloomington. During the war he conducted classes on pilots training at both Illinois Wesleyan and Illinois State Normal Universities and taught in the Navy V l2 program For the past seventeen years Mr Adams has been a teacher ot science and more recently the Dean ot Boys at Bloomington High Page Elghl DEAN 0F GIRLS The Dean of Girls, Miss Mildred Lierman, was born in Bloomington, Illinois, and was educated in the pub- lic school system and later graduated from Blooming- ton High School. ln her senior year, she had the honor ot winning a state chemistry contest. When Miss Lier- man graduated from Illinois State Normal University, she took iurther training at Northwestern University and at was at Northwestern that she received her M. A.
