A BASKETBALL TEAM The 1953-54 basketball season found the Blossoms lacking experienced play- ers as Co-Captain Bernie Kubicek was the only returning letterman. Lack of experience greatly hindered the Blossom with possessing a winning season but despite of their 4-14 record the boys had a lot of fun and many memor- ies that they will long remember. Highlight of the season was the game with the Gopher Conference Champs New Richland, as the local five led most of the way only to have victory slip away in the last quarter. Lost through graduation are six seniors: Co-Captains Bernie Kubicek and Loren Rasmussen, Herman Thissen, Harry Dannen, Pete Godferdson and David Christianson. Returning to lead the 54-55 cagers will be Clarence Wincentsin, Paul Birgin and Larry Turner. 37 Kiss me MQ-.. ,MW :SWE Hold him down Rass Go man Go.
