TEXAS Spring '49 Dear Classmates, Every year when the seniors fall heir to the task of pub- lishing a yearbook, one of the hardest choices that they must make is that of selecting the right motif to be used. This year we think that we have chosen the perfect one---the '49ers. It is our hope in publishing this yearbook that you may be able to look back and recall the happy experiences shared in '49 just as, in looking back at the other '49ers, you recall the experiences they shared on their trek to California. just as the 1849ers were seeking gold to make themselves rich so we are hoping that the choice experiences that we have presented here will prove to be some of the shining gold nuggets of your lives.
