CHEERLEADERS Come on Bloomfield lets GO' If you attended the basketball games you undoubtedly heard these words shouted enthusiastically by the cute peppy cheerleaders of Bloomfield H1gh School as they cheered our team on to one victory after another This years varsity squad which also cheered durlng the soccer L1ll1an Brightman Pauline Fontaine Esther Woodford Dian Attardo and Beverly Barnard In their white sweaters vuth the big B and their blue and orange skirts these cheerleaders were ever ready to get out on the basketball court and lead us on to cheering our loudest The squad kept some of the old traditional cheers such as Bloomheld Locomotive but added some new ones too such as T E A M Those on the yuntor varsity squad were Captain Ions Radm Marte Lupo Barbara Peterson Nancy Mattll and Elaine Serignese These jVs all of whom were new this year dtd a hne job and led the crowd on to more enthusiasm over the V games Our cheerleaders are ones we can alvn ays be proud of because they represented BHS in more ways than any other group and the tmpres sion they have left is a good one They certainly proved that Bloom field High has what it takes to cheer its teams on to many a victory -' A an s 5 - 2 X ' Q QT' N X O S J . , .
