Lonnie Bailey received the Mike Arfora award for participation in the performing arts. Joanne Conway was the recipient of the Edith Gray scholarship and Diana Partain received a Bertha Crane scholarship. For being the top boy and girl in the senlor class, Brad Lucas and Areva Ragle received the Rotary Club award. 29

Jamie Corbin was the 1980 recipient of the DAR award. SENICR AWARDS 81 SCHOLARSHIPS Ed Bensman and Teresa Foley received the American Legion award for out- standing citizenship. For outstanding leadership in the school and community, David Pickett and Susan Ternes received the Danforth award. Susan Ternes was honored as Salutatorian and received an ISU Academic Scholar- ship while Areva Ragle, Valedictorian, was the recipient of a Bertha Crane scholarship. 28
